We purchased Autumn recently from Catrigg Retrievers. Ian and Abbie were both absolutely fantastic. We visited Autumn every week upto when we could collect her. Both always made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble and they answered all our questions. Autumn is absolutely gorgeous and is growing into a beautiful retriever. She is calm and loveable and is adorable. We would definitely go back to this breeder if we decide on another golden retriever in the future.

We could not recommend this breeder enough. We got our fox red golden retriever (‘Barrie’) from Ian in March 2023 and it was the best decision we made. He has been the easiest pup to train. He was almost house trained from the day we picked him up and in a matter of a couple of weeks he was full there. Ian made sure we had everything we needed to get us started when we brought our puppy home and reassured us that we could contact him if we had any queries. Everyone always comments on Barrie’s colour and how handsome and well behaved he is. We would highly recommend Ian if you are thinking of getting a golden retriever puppy.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Catrigg Retrievers! From the moment we first got in touch, it was clear that Abbie and Ian are incredibly caring and knowledgeable. Their passion for responsible breeding truly shines through in everything they do, and it’s so obvious how much they adore and take pride in their beautiful dogs.

While we were waiting for our puppy Benji to be old enough to come home, Abbie kept us updated with regular messages, adorable videos, and posts on their fabulous Instagram page, @catriggretrievers. It was such a joy to see Benji and his siblings growing up in such a loving and well-cared-for environment. It’s clear the dogs at Catrigg Retrievers live the most charmed lives!

Now that Benji is home, we can honestly say he’s the perfect addition to our family. He’s absolutely gorgeous, with the sweetest personality, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start for him in life. We’re so grateful to Abbie and Ian for their dedication and for making the whole process so wonderful. Highly recommend Catrigg Retrievers to anyone looking for a top-quality breeder!
